This build order can overwhelm your opponent, and probably beat most of them - provided you have a little time.  You will have powerful and fast hydras when most people have base units.

  -9 extractor, train drone for minerals, train overlord
  -Train 3 drones: 2 gas, 1 builds spawning pool
  -Train 3 drones: 1 gas, 2 minerals until spawning pool is complete
  -When pool is done, 1 builds evolution chamber, 1 builds hydra den
  -Train 3 drones: 2 minerals, 1 builds sunken colony
  -Get missile attack upgrade
  -Get hydra speed upgrade

What you can do now is get another Hatchery (or 2) and pump hydras like crazy.  This build isn't exactly a power hydra build, but it will give you good forces without sacrificing too much defense.
