MidaS seemed pretty secure at this point, he had fended numerous attacks and finally caught a break, enabling him to gather up a good amount of marines.  Meanwhile, Krazy was still powering.  He took his mineral only expansion and was producing random ground troops out of 4 gateways (2 at his choke and 2 in his main).

However, it seemed as though MidaS was in for yet another assault.   Shifty morped 3 lurkers and began approaching MidaS' main once again.  Once he approached the choke point Shifty burrowed his lurkers on low ground and began firing up onto the ramp at MidaS' group of marines.  The marines managed to kill 1 of the 3 lurkers before it burrowed but he was forced to retreat back into the depths of his base.

Lurkers are definately one of the Terran's worst enemies, especially when they don't have detection.  As you can see MidaS' comsat station is not finished yet, and doesn't have an engineering bay either.

As a result, Shifty was able to pick off numerous marines and started pounding on the barracks.

However, Krazy comes to the rescue with about 6 dragoons.  MidaS' comsat only had enough energy for 1 comsat, but that would prove to be sufficent for the dragoons to take out the remaining 2 lurkers.

So far the lurkers have worked pretty well for Shifty, his opponents didn't have much mobile detection at this point.  So he began morphing 6 more.   Also, as you can see in the mini-map below, at this point Shifty and Blinky began taking their natural expansions.

However, when the 6 lurkers hatched and began to scour the map they ran into a barrackade of cannons and dragoons that Krazy had established at his mineral only expansion.  About half of the lurkers died to Protoss fire before they could burrow, and Krazy took this opportunity to run past the remaining lurkers into Shifty's natural at which they began wreaking havok.

Simultaneously, on the other side of the map, MidaS initiated his first offensive strike, dropping a horde of marines in Blinky's peon line.  Blinky was able to defeat this drop with tanks and marines, but not before losing almost all of his mining SCVs.

Moreover, Krazy was still causing some serious problems for Shifty.   Krazy had amassed a good number of goons and templar, disposed of the remaining lurkers near his expansion, and marched his army up into Shifty's now scantily defended main.

Meanwhile, MidaS strikes again.  This time he began tank pushing Blinky's main, using a dropship to spot.  Consequently, Blinky's base fell to tanks, marines, medics and a group of dragoons that Krazy sent to finish off some floating buildings.

Sadly, MidaS was dropped from the game, but by this time both of his and Krazy's opponents had no main bases, just newly flourishing, and soon to be demolished island expansions.  Krazy proved that he could clean up alone with ease as he recalled a number of troops onto the top left island where Shifty's last structures lay.   Shifty then remarks about imbalance.. but I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic :).

Also.. upon Krazy's request I added a shot of his 3 Arbiters chasing Shifty's only remaining overlord.

Overall I thought this was a rather interesting game.  In the beginning, if Shifty used his first 6 lings to attack Krazy instead of chasing the lone probe around for a while he might have been able to defeat him right then and there.   Also, if Blinky made another barracks in the beginning instead of teching to fast tanks he would have been able to provide more marines for the dual attacks on MidaS.. which probably would have crippled, if not destroyed him.  Krazy was able to power too much and wound up overwhelming Shifty, who had been using most of his resources for lurker strikes on MidaS.  And MidaS' drop on Blinky obviously slowed him down enough for MidaS to runover him with a tank push.  Good Game to all of the contestants.   That's all for now.  For more BoldReports, strategies, and plenty of other awesome gaming stuff check out the 404 Gaming website.
