KraZyLisk... & :+:MidaS:+: vs. [-=(Shifty!)=-] & [-=(Blinky!)=-].

I joined channel nohunters to see if anyone wanted to play a game when I saw KraZyLisK... ask if anyone wanted to report a game.  I've done many reports, but they've only been from games I've participated in, so I decided I'd like to observe and report someone else's game for a change.  Everyone joined the game and finally, after a looooong period of map downloading, we begun.

KraZyLisk started at 2:00 as white protoss, his partner, MidaS spawned purple terran at 9:00.  Their opponents, Shifty! and Blinky! started as orange zerg 12:00 and yellow terran 6:00, respectively.  Everyone started their builds and KraZy and MidaS sent out some scouting workers.  KraZy found Shifty! at 12:00 and noticed that he was 6 pooling.  At this point all KraZy had was a pylon and a half-done forge at his choke point beyond his natural...

...which quickly promted this discussion:

Good thing Shifty chased after Krazy's scouting probe instead of immediately attacking.. this delay gave Krazy ample time to get a few cannons up.    

However, instead of attacking Krazy, Shifty sent his zerglings to 9:00 to attack MidaS and wound up decimating his marines.

MidaS was forced to use SCVs to fend off the attack, which worked rather well.. 

..but then came another wave of lings, this time accompanied by a few of Blinky's marines.

Still, MidaS was able to handle the raids on his base.. though it did appear to slow him down a bit.  In the mean time, KraZy was able to power, taking his natural rather early securing it with a gateway/cannon wall at his choke.

Shifty and Blinky kept up the pressure at MidaS' main, sending more and more zerglings and marines.  Shifty began a lair and hydra den, and Blinky built 2 factories behind his choke point wall-in.

To much surprise, MidaS was able to fend off the intruders once again.   Notice how MidaS placed his marines in between the two barracks.. now, whether he knew this or not, this was very efficient because the zerglings had to attack the marines one at a time while every marine could fire at will.

Will MidaS be able to hold off another combined attack from Shifty and Blinky?  When will Krazy bust out and start exploiting his resource advantage?  Click here to continue to the next page.
